Media Suppression in Mexico: A Conversation with Mexican Journalist Ricardo Raphael

The 2018 Stanford Global Studies student dinner featured Ricardo Raphael, a prominent journalist, academic, author, and advocate for press freedom, who spoke about media suppression in Mexico. Raphael was previously a co-host of one of Mexico’s most popular radio talk shows, “Enfoque Noticias,” known for its insightful political analysis. He is also the general director of the Tlatelolco University Cultural Center at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), professor of subjects at the Center for Economic Research and Teaching (CIDE) and host of the TV programs “Espiral” and “#Calle11” of Channel 11 and “No Common Place” of ADN Noticias.
